Energy Efficiency Accreditation

Thursday 21st February

Find out how ‘Energy Efficiency Accreditation’ can help your business save money and energy, reduce carbon emissions and enhance your reputation.

Energy prices are rising fast and carbon emissions are under increasing scrutiny in the public and private sectors.

On Thursday 21st February the Carbon Trust is holding a high-level morning event explaining the Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme (EEAS) and how it is helping clients put energy efficiency and carbon emissions reduction high on the business agenda. Some of the issues EEAS is helping clients address include:

  • Cost savings
One EEAS client – Sainsbury’s – is saving £8 million each year through steps identified by the scheme. How much could you save on your energy bills?
  • Benchmarking
What is best practice in energy management? How do you set baselines and targets and measure your energy use and carbon emissions?
  • Corporate responsibility
How can business and public bodies strengthen their reputation by demonstrating that they are taking the right steps to address carbon emissions and save energy, in a coherent and measurable way?

As well as speakers from the Carbon Trust, ground breaking practitioners from the private and public sectors will explain what Energy Efficiency Accreditation is doing for their operations, costs and reputations.

You’ll find full details of the venue, dates and times on the enclosed invitation. You can also find out more and register online for this event by visiting www.thecarbontrust.co.uk/events.
