FREE Environmental Training Programme6th December, Southamptonthe Environment Centre (tEC) has joined forces with Global Resource Management (GRM) to offer an extended Environmental Training Programme. The course comprises a six-day training programme over a period of 4 months starting on 6th December 2005. This programme is supported by the European Social Fund to enable manufacturing and engineering businesses to demonstrate to their customers that they are working towards environmental improvements, environmental best practice, waste reduction, reduced risk through legal compliance and ultimately an environmental management system. Each delegate must be able to commit to the 6 training days plus up to 80 hours of coursework during the 4-month period. The delegates will receive 4 days of environmental management training; 2 days waste minimisation training and 1-day net consultancy to support the implementation of improvements. An initial deposit of £100 is required which is refunded on completion of the course. Please call for more information and a delegate pack. CIEH Environmental Awareness Training13th December, Winchester This one-day certified course aims to provide delegates with a basic
understanding of environmental issues, how they relate to the business
world, and how they are directly relevant to your workplace. This
certificated course is regulated by the renowned Chartered Institute of
Environmental Health (CIEH), and upon passing a basic multiple-choice test
participants will receive a named certificate stating they have successfully
completed a CIEH course in Environmental Awareness. This course is an
excellent means of demonstrating to customers, the public, and auditors that
