BioMAP

Biomass Market Assessment Project

Do you know how much heating costs take off your bottom line? Rising fuel costs are increasingly impacting company’s profitability with heating making up a sizeable chunk of this cost.

If this sounds familiar then BioMAP may be able to help with free advice and consultancy. Wood fuelled heating systems are well established in parts of Europe providing a clean, efficient and above all cheap form of heating for a wide range of organisations. With the added advantage of being carbon neutral, more and more organisations are switching to wood to heat their premises.

The South East, and Hampshire in particular, has a significant resource in terms of standing woodland so fuel can be supplied locally guaranteeing supply over the long term and supporting the local economy.

With fuel costs well below that of oil and comparable to gas the payback time for wood fired installations can be quite short. Add to that the current availability of capital grants and wood fired systems become very attractive indeed.
