New Network for Businesses Launched! The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sustainable Business Partnership (SBP) has developed a new network just for business. This network is aimed specifically at businesses who are committed to sustainability and would like to access information and advice on what to do next, as well as those who are new to this agenda and need help with where to start. The Network has been welcomed by businesses previously involved in the SBP who wanted a network which was dedicated solely to business needs and issues. The next meeting, which is on 14 December 2005, will be an opportunity for local businesses to learn more about how they can begin the New Year with a fresh start. Winners from this years Sustainable Business Awards will be discussing how they managed to have impacts within their organisations and suggesting ideas for how others can do the same. Details of the next meeting are:
The Sustainable Business Network puts businesses in contact with other businesses striving to tackle similar issues, enabling them to discuss and share information on how to meet the challenges of becoming a sustainable business. There is also access to local support providers who can help overcome barriers and deliver improved environmental performance. To book your place simply e-mail sustainable.business.partnership@hants.gov.uk or call Libby Masterton on 01962 846070. |
