Winner of the Medium Business Award was George Gale & Company (PDF 0.2MB). Based in Horndean, Hampshire,Gales produce cask, keg and bottled beer for wholesale and retail through its own, and others, public houses. Gales are committed to sustainability; addressing their impacts on all three areas; environmental, social and economic development. In addition to the continuous improvements in reducing their impacts on natural resources and the surrounding environment, Gales have developed projects and programmes which demonstrate a commitment to the social dimensions of its work. Greenhouse Graphics Small Business Award sponsored by HEP

Winner of the Small Business Award was Greenhouse Graphics Ltd. (PDF 0.2MB) based in Bramley, Basingstoke. Greenhouse Graphics, runners up in last years Awards, have topped the bill this year with a variety of improvements and achievements. They have moved to new, larger premises and invested in a larger press and other new equipment to cope with their business expansion. They have implemented a whole raft of employee and community benefit programmes, which, together with its positive effects on the local economy, has substantially improved the sustainability of their business.
