Free Business Advice Clinics

Available to all Hampshire Businesses

Business Link Wessex, the impartial route for business advice, has extended its business advice clinic service to companies across the whole of Hampshire. Aimed at owner managers from every industry sector, these FREE, confidential sessions last one hour, with no limit to the topics that can be addressed. Attendees of recent similar clinics in Dorset highlighted issues such as business growth and planning, employment details, finance and marketing.

Owner managers from businesses of all sizes are welcome and will benefit from impartial advice and expert business information. There will be the opportunity to develop a business action plan or receive help in finding specialists who will be able to provide further advice on specific queries.

From the beginning of September, at least two clinics per week are taking place across Hampshire at a variety of rural and urban location. Bookings are now being taken for clinics up to the end of December 2004 and for more detailed information, please contact the Business Link Wessex Customer Connections team or visit the Business Link Wessex web site.

A series of advisory clinics has already been run successfully across Dorset and the New Forest. Reg Bodman, Micro Business Manger for Business Link Wessex said: ‘Owner Managers are very busy people, so to make their lives easier, we are going to a venue near them. These face-to-face sessions have proved enormously successful in Dorset and we’re hoping to develop new relationships throughout Hampshire with businesses which haven’t accessed our services as much as they would like before. Within three months, there will be an advisory session within 20 miles of every business in the county.’
