Business Environment Forum

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Business Environment Forum (BEF) is an informal partnership network of representatives from organisations and businesses across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. With the support of key organisations in the area, the BEF is able to provide a co-ordinated approach to the dissemination of environmental information, and to raise awareness of sustainable development in the business community. The BEF aims to assist and encourage improved environmental performance in industry and commerce. BEF is the coordinator of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sustainable Business Awards which rewards businesses for their sustainability achievements.

The next BEF Quarterly meeting is on the 29th September in Southampton. The topic for this meeting is Renewable Energy and is being hosted by Southampton City Council.

If you would like to be involved with the BEF, please contact Maggie Francis (BEF Co-ordinator) who can be reached at the Regional Business Centre, Harts Farm Way, Hampshire PO9 1HR. Tel: 023 9244 9404 Email: bef@chamber.org.uk
